Top 9 for Auld Lang Syne

Tomorrow is a new year. The most optimistic Holiday we’ve got. In actuality, every single day is a new year… because one year has elapsed since that same day one year earlier. What makes tomorrow different? It’s that all of us are collectively acknowledging change together; preparing for all the opportunity, fellowship, success, and challenges ahead; eager for what’s to come.

“What a wonderful thought that some of our best days haven’t even happened yet.”

But before pressing our foot to the gas pedal of 2024, it’s OK to glance in the rear view mirror and show reverence for the past. You are what you eat – as our past predicts our future. Revolutions are rare, evolution goes unnoticed right under our nose. Our lives are on trajectories that we control; up or down. Habits and routines fuel growth like compounding interest. Every day becomes a dot on our life’s line chart. And “you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.”
