That's nuts!

That's nuts!

An almost unbelievable factoid was mentioned in a recent Wall Street Journal article that explores the men’s fashion trend of Costco. The writer even includes glamor photos of himself in a $48 Kirkland Signature outfit.

Which led me to the brilliant book The Joy of Costco, where David and Susan Schwartz retell their exploration of over 250 Costco stores and warehouses, including several behind-the-scenes looks at depots, packaging facilities, vendors, meatpacking plants, and even a pre-opening party.

And then they drop a bomb of a factoid. The nugget of trivia that I'll cite for years. I hope every time someone recites this, Ken Jennings smiles.

"Costco sells more than half of the world’s cashews and seven times more hotdogs than all MLB stadiums combined."
The Joy of Costco: A Treasure Hunt from A to Z

Yup, that’s nuts.
